Based on the SX1262 LoRa chipset, it delivers longer communication distance (up to 5km), higher transmission rates, lower power consumption, and stronger anti-interference performance than SX127X LoRa modules. This LoRa HAT expansion board connects directly to the Rasp-berry Pi 40PIN GPIO header for easy integration. It also includes a UART interface for external host boards such as Ar-duino or STM32, and an onboard CP2102 USB to UART converter for serial debugging and development. With LoRa spread spectrum modulation technology, this board provides up to 81 available signal channels and supports auto multi-level repeating, allowing multi-node and multi-network LoRa deployments across large areas. The low power consumption features, including deep sleep mode and Wake on Radio, make it ideal for battery-powered IoT devices. Security and reliability are ensured with features such as customizable communication keys (not retrievable for safety), RSSI monitoring, and Listen-Before-Talk (LBT), which improves communication success even in noisy environments.
