We do not use recycled copper to hand make our copper sinks. We use pure, virgin unsealed copper.Most of our copper sinks are hand cut using manual scissor, heated using a torch, formed to shape using manual tools, textured by a hammer and green oxidized. Our sinks come with a connecting ring that acts as an interface between the rounded bottom of the basin and the flat counter top for easy installation. It serves both as the drain opening as well as the anchoring mechanism that holds the sink in place on the counter top. A mounting bottom ring is not necessary and may be added for additional sink security.
